A video on your iPod or iPad is a great way to snap yourself out of spiralling anxiety or panic. You just have to remember to watch it when you first start feeling a bit wobbly although it also works great if you are deep inside though often that's not the time you remember what to do so easily. A specially made video, just for you, reminds you who you are, where you have come from and what to do when you're feeling anxious or panicky.

I made one for myself a while back and found it really handy when I was just starting to feel on edge. I simply put it on, listening with earphones, and before it even ended I was back to my normal self. I've also used it when I was deep inside panic and it had a stabilising effect almost instantly. It's a great reminder of what I've done in the past and how I got out of it and also just simple reminders like taking a deep breath is really useful at stressful times.

They're quite easy to make nowadays with all the apps and programs available. I used Keynote on my iMac for mine. You just need to collect some photos and think of some reminder phrases to make some slides of. I put some of my own music behind mine which also acts as a reminder that I am creative and can compose!
